Summary
Sarah McCormack grew up in Atlanta, Georgia, before receiving her undergraduate degree at the University of Virginia and her law degree at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. Ms. McCormack is a member of the Phi Beta Kappa Society, the Order of the Coif, and was a staff member of the University of North Carolina Law Review. She spent her first two years of law practice with McKenna Long & Aldridge, LLP, where she specialized in both family law and general civil practice, before devoting herself exclusively to family law by joining Kessler, Schwarz & Solomiany, P.C. in 2003.
Ms. McCormack's published articles include her 2001 law review article, "Controversy Aroused: North Carolina Mandates Insurance Coverage of Contraceptives in the Wake of Viagra," and the 2004 American Journal of Family Law article, "Representing the High Profile Client," that she co-authored with Randall M. Kessler. She also participated in the published Georgia Court of Appeals decision of RTS Landfill, Inc. v. Appalachian Waste Systems, LLC, 267 Ga.App. 56 (2004).
Ms. McCormack shares her household with her husband, Kevin McCormack, the website manager for nba.com, her son, Dylan, and a willful, oversized pomeranian named Charlie.
